A motorized camera column for KBS MKI and MFS MKI. Pick a format and the camera drives to its height, level and square to the film.
The camera moves. The setup stays.
Going from 35mm to 6×7 changes the distance between camera and film. COPY MKI moves the camera for you and returns to the same position every time.
Fine steps, by motor.
The column raises and lowers the camera in fine steps. No clamp to loosen, nothing nudged out of square.
Level from the first roll.
A levelling base, an Arca Swiss compatible panning base and a spirit level come in the box. Level the camera once and lock it.
Tripod spirit level.
A spirit level on the head shows when the camera sits level, so it stays flat over the film.
Square to the film plate.
A rigid column and a fixed base keep the sensor parallel to the film, so edges stay sharp corner to corner.
One preset per format.
Larger negatives need more distance to fill the sensor. Pick a format and watch the column find its height.
