Who is behind General Film Labs?
Nick Frank, Jan Hausmann
General Film Labs was started by Nick Frank, a professional advertising and industrial photographer, and Jan Hausmann, a state certified automation technician. Nick designed the concept and the mechanics, Jan built the electronics and the first software. Jan died in July 2026. Nick carries the project forward, and Jan's name stays part of it.
